Jessica Dale asked:

How to get a yeast infection and how to eliminate it!

A yeast infection does not discriminate. You can get it if you are a male, a female, young, old, rich, poor, whatever. Anyone can get it! The reason why a male yeast infection is never talked is because men often don\’t have as obvious symptoms as women. Thus having a male yeast infection can be much more embarrassing, as people associated it being a female problem. Men may have discharge, aggravating itchiness or redness, and burning after urination. In a male, chronic groin yeast infections may also appear as flat, brown or red-brown patches. Regardless, treatment is the same for both sexes.

You can also get it if you are a very young. You can also get it if you are a virgin and have never had sex. You can even get it by sharing an infected towel with someone! The yeast-like fungus that causes yeast infections, Candida, lives in every single person. Candida is often passed on from a mother to a newborn baby during birth. When the normal population of Candida gets out of hand and multiplies explosively that is when a yeast infection occurs.

Don\’t think you are not susceptible to it. A majority of the population lives with a yeast infection and doesn\’t even know it. I will give you factors that guarantees that you have a yeast infection – if your diet is high in sugar, if you have taken antibiotics, if you have taken birth control pills, if you have taken yeast infection drugs before (ironically), if you have taken steroids, if you have had unprotected sex with someone who has a yeast infection, if you have gone through or are going through menopause, if you have been pregnant, if you have diabetes. There is a host of reasons and ways you can get a yeast infection.

If you are looking to eliminate your yeast infection, it must be done naturally and without the use of drugs. Drugs actually strengthen the yeast infection fungi and make it more resilient and harder for your body to fight. What you can do right now to help your condition is cut out sugar from your diet. Sugar is what feeds your yeast infection.

Discover how I got relief from my Vaginal Yeast Infection in hours without the use of harmful drugs (MONISTAT), antibiotics or expensive supplements…

Click the link NOW for immediate Relief

Note: You may wish to publish this article for your website, blog, etc. As long as the article remains in its full entirety; including the links and the about the author resource box.

KOEHLER

Bai Zijian asked:

Recurring yeast infections may be difficult to prevent or cure. Recurring yeast infections or chronic yeast infection is not only annoying but it can also put you at risk of other illnesses like diabetes and chronic urinary tract infection. If you have recurring yeast infections, they may be a sign of a systemic candida infection which would require more than a localized treatment.

Yeast infections are the second most common type of vaginal infection women experience (bacterial vaginosis is the most common). Although these infections are normally not life-threatening, but they are definitely life-affecting. Yeast infections can cause severe discomfort but rarely cause serious health problems. Yeast usually produces burning rather than itching but not always. One of the last causes of recurring yeast infection is a change in the immune system. Moisture trapped around the vagina can also be the cause of recurring yeast infection.

According to some studies a full 17-26% of women suffer from recurring yeast infections. Many are plagued by recurring yeast infections, which are most frequent between the ages of 16 and 35. Recurring vaginal yeast infections may indicate a serious or underlying medical problem including: Diabetes HIV Immune system disorders. Recurring Yeast Infections For the average, relatively healthy woman, non-recurring yeast infection is a non-imposing, slightly irritating situation that is generally cleared within a week using over-the-counter or homeopathic remedies. Recurring yeast infections may be difficult to prevent or cure. Recurring yeast infections are a common problem in diabetics and in those who consume a high sugar diet.

Vaginal discharge is not always present and may be minimal, but when present may be: cottage-cheese-like in nature thick, whitish-gray discharge watery to thick in consistency. Vaginal discharge varies in its nature and consistency from one person to another and even for one person throughout the menstrual cycle. Bacterial vaginosis is a form of abnormal vaginal environment that can lead to other complications including miscarriage, preterm labor, serious infection after surgery and pelvic inflammatory disease.

A yeast infection is not necessarily an STI; however, treating a woman and her sexual partner may help prevent recurrent yeast infections. These recurrent infections usually run their course after several years. Assuming that you and your doctor are absolutely sure of the diagnosis of recurrent yeast infection and there are no predisposing factors such as diabetes, antibiotic use, immune disease or immunotherapy use, then the treatment becomes problematical trial and error. A recurrent yeast infection can be chronic and hidden with strange or unusual symptoms that occur from time to time. The serious form of recurrent yeast infection occurs when the yeast actually turns into a mold form and sends out tentacles called hyphae, or roots, into the skin. A recurrent yeast infection can be chronic and hidden with strange or unusual symptoms that occur from time to time.

This site give you the tools necessary to eliminate recurring yeast infections, success will be dependant on how determined you are. We collected hundreds of medical documents about recurring yeast infections. Everyone with recurring yeast infections should try this.

OHARA

Brad Burnie asked:

Today yeast infections are becoming more common due to the many factors that cause them. An excess of Candida bacteria leads to a yeast infection. Candida is a serious infection that shouldn’t be left untreated. When Candida isn’t treated it can leads to other serious health problems.

Most yeast infections can easily be treated with over the counter drugs such as Monistat and Nyaderm. However, you can use many holistic cures for Candida as well. Choosing yeast infection cures is a personal decision and there are many factors to consider including your health, the frequency of Candida problems and individual preference.

Over the counter medications can help treat many symptoms related to yeast infections including itchiness, burning and discharge. However, oral thrush is a different type of yeast infection, which requires different treatment options. There is also a yeast infection that occurs in your GI tract, which can cause other symptoms such as sinus infections, food cravings and a sluggish feeling. Since yeast infections can occur on different areas of your body, there are different levels of treatment to consider.

For the typical yeast infection you can typically choose an over the counter medication that is available in seven, three and even one day preparations. If you are experiencing your first yeast infection then it is a good idea to get professional advice from your doctor first so any other health conditions can be considered along with the yeast infection treatment.

Most women will get a yeast infection sometime in their life. The reasons for these infections can include health problems, the use of antibiotics, bacterial infections, dietary issues and sexually transmitted infections. However, you should never use over the counter yeast infection treatments on your first yeast infection until you have had a proper diagnosis from a doctor.

Other health problems can resemble the symptoms of a yeast infection. This is why it is important to visit a doctor for a diagnosis first since they can rule out other health problems. This way you know that the cream or suppository that you get from the drug store will really work. Once you know that you are experiencing a yeast infection it will become easier to recognize yeast infections when they occur again. This way you can choose to use home remedies in the future to treat yeast infections and have the confidence that you aren’t placing your health at risk.

However, if your yeast infections recur often then you may want to visit your doctor again to see if there is an underlying cause of the yeast infection. If this is the case then you may want to consider trying some dietary or lifestyle changes in order to see if it changes the frequency or strength of the yeast overgrowth within your body. You can find a lot of information on the internet today for those who suffer from recurring yeast infections.

Under certain circumstances the Candida Albicans bacteria replicates quickly. When you are aware of the triggers that work within your body to produce Candida Albicans bacteria then you can take a proactive approach to reducing your chance of getting recurring yeast infections. This way you also don’t have to use over the counter yeast infection products often. When you use over the counter products too often they may become ineffective after awhile and sometimes the products can actually cause side effects when used too often.

YI

Christopher Smith asked:

Most any woman who has had a yeast infection can explain every painful, irritating, and overly itchy detail with burning accuracy. What many women do not know is the cause of yeast infection. This means they can only hope to avoid getting another, which they ultimately will if they aren’t properly protecting themselves against yeast infections.

Vaginal yeast infections are the most commonly known types of yeast infection although there are others. Thrush is common in babies, the elderly, diabetics and people who take steroids. Others who commonly have yeast infections include people who have weak immune systems. The broad cause of yeast infections in all of these people is an overgrowth of candidiasis, a fungus from the Candida family that is naturally present in the body.

To be able to prevent yeast infections you have to understand the causes. When Candida has the opportunity, or the right circumstances, a rapid growth will happen. This overgrowth puts the body out of balance and causes the symptoms of yeast infection. Yeast, being a fungus, needs to have warmth, moisture, and darkness to grow.

Wearing tight clothing holds the heat and moisture (usually from sweat) close, in women this will cause the perfect conditions in the vagina for yeast to grow. So wearing tight clothing is one of the often overlooked causes of yeast infections.

Other causes of yeast infections include high blood sugar levels. Diabetics who do not have their blood sugar levels under control run the risk of vaginal yeast infections and thrush. Both are painful. Yeast feeds on glucose (sugar) and when the blood glucose levels are high it creates a perfect opportunity for the fungus to grow. Wearing appropriate clothing doesn’t help your mouth, it is always warm and wet so it is at risk if your blood sugar isn’t under control.

Wearing damp under clothing, including swim suits or sweaty gym clothing, is also on the list of common causes of yeast infections. The moisture can cause yeast infections on the skin in creases and under ‘fat rolls’ as well as increasing your chances of getting a vaginal yeast infection. Many people do not realize that Candida can flourish on the skin’s surface in areas where skin folds are touching. This can be an ongoing problem for overweight people.

Perhaps the most common cause of yeast infections is antibiotic usage. Taking antibiotics kills bacteria in the body; this can cause a change in the balance and an overgrowth of Candida which, of course, causes yeast infections. People who are prone to yeast infections can take an oral antibiotic/anti-fungal that will help by preventing the imbalance that causes yeast infections.

Another common misconception is that people get yeast infections from not being clean so using douches and washing excessively will help this. In reality, washing excessively and douching more frequently than suggested can cause a yeast infection. The excessive washing can kill enough bacteria that is supposed to be on the skin causing an overgrowth of Candida. Sudsy bath products can also cause yeast infections. Bubble baths aren’t healthy for the female genitalia and shouldn’t be used unless care is taken to rinse thoroughly and not allow suds to come in contact with the vagina.

Knowing what to look for and what causes yeast infections can help you to prevent future infections, and any woman who has had one will agree; preventing a yeast infection is much better than treating one.

KAUFFMAN
