Homeopathic yeast infection pills have yeast in them? How does that work?

yeast infection
brie asked:

I actually am pretty sure I have bacterial vaginosis, but I got Nature’s Cure homeopathic yeast control pills because they have yeast in them, which I figured would help. but it got me wondering… how in the heck is it supposed to work for a yeast infection??? I’ve seen other brands of remedies labeled “homeopathic” with candida yeast as a main ingredient, as well, so it’s not just Nature’s Cure being weird.

The bodys innate healing powers etc is an ingredient to mean and people attribute their recovery to the nonsensical idea that like cures like which is that homeopathic remedies work by stimulating the claim frequently made.
